The night of the Short Film

It was chosen the short film that will represent the country in the Mar del Plata Film Fest, the most important of Latin America.

One of the twelve competitors will be the winner of the night as the “Best Short Film of the year” by Leticia Christoph and Pablo Barbieri.

On Wednesday December 5, a new and emotional night of Short Films shined. The forth edition, of this singular proposal founded by Rubén Bianchi four years ago, awards the creativity and dedication of future argentine film director.

 

In the award are included all the costs for the enlargement to 35mm and the presentation in official competition of the next Mar del Plata Film Festival as representative of our country.

 

Every year, the National Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts organized this event at national level where the best short films of the country are present. Rubén Bianchi firmly thinks that “the short film in a creativity in process of growing in our country. That is why we are determined to promote the efforts in order to collaborate with its development and dissemination.

 

One of the twelve competitors will be the winner of the night as the “Best Short Film of the year” by Leticia Christoph and Pablo Barbieri. The panel member awarded the “level of production and quality in all the technical and artistic areas and the effectiveness of the metaphoric account”

 

“Al sol en Bici”, directed by the Humus group, and “Lapsus”, an animation of Juan Pablo Zaramella, also obtained an important mention during that magical night. Two different comedies that made the public present laugh.

 

INCAA is sure that the best way of promoting the national cinema is to give a prize to all the producers and to motivate them in order to reach the perfection.
