The pure expression

At present, national art still preserves that mysticism and that trademark that caused that great museums and galleries of the world fill their rooms of pride with Argentine artists.

Plastic art is the simple expression of an idea by the mere willingness of the author. Argentina, during its two centuries of history, has shown its great quality in the art world. Represented by Antonio Berni, Juan Carlos Castagnino, Raúl Soldi, Emilio Pettoruti y Benito Quinquela Martín, among others, it knew how to gain respect and place in the world.

At present, national art still preserves that mysticism and that trademark that caused that great museums and galleries of the world fill their rooms of pride with Argentine artists. For example, Guillermo Kuitca, was paid tribute by the curator of Venice Biennial 2007 and his work is already permanent property of New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Argentina’s plastic art can be seen in more than 150 museums and galleries.
