The foreign trade has as objective to go into the commercial insertion of the republic, capitalizing the results of the international commercial business and promoting the joint action with the private sector that export goods and services. One of the aims is to promote the export of goods and services of high added value, to reach a diversification of the destinies of our export and create support policies for the international insertion of the SME’s and regional economies.

Through its image of Argentina in the world, the country expects to promote the receptive tourism by its impact in the internal economy as generator of employment and export of goods and services.
Argentina’s strategy is to search business partners by strengthening its links either with MERCOSUR, other Latin-American Countries or old world countries and Asia. So, Argentina pretends to promote the integration of productive networks

The sale of cars abroad reached a 210% growth in the 2002-2007 period, which therefore yielded 6.008 million dollar revenues. Actually, it was the business line achieving the greatest boom in sales.
Sales have grown 52% in the last year-on-year 2-month period. Over the first two months this year, there have been vegetable and animal food exports to EU countries for 1,853,327 tons and 894,033,000 dollars.
The objective is monitoring the international financial crisis in the face of a possible growth of exports in South Asian countries against the most commercially important nations of South America.
Mineral exports currently face a stage of momentum. As a result of a 226% rise in the price of minerals, the number of exports recorded an increase from a 750 millon dollar amount between the 1998-2003 period, to 3000 millon dollars in 2007.
Dozens of megaprojects will be conducted all around the country in 2008. Against this backdrop, exports for u$s1.200 million dollars are expected to be achieved.
Commodities, making up most of national exports, recorded an average 8% increase in February vis-â-vis the figure reached in January. In addition, they have soared by 65% over this last year.
