Argentina - Science and Education - Raíces Program

Programa R@ICES aims at strengthening the country´s scientific and technological capabilities by developing policies targeted at creating bonds with Argentine researchers residing abroad. It also focuses on implementing actions aiming at promoting the permant stay of researchers in Argentina and the return of those researchers that may be interested in carrying out undertakings in this country. This program seeks to be regarded as a setting where Argentine researchers residing at home and abroad may share their queries and initiatives by the adopting policies encouraging the development of bonds with Argentine researchers,  the boosting of their return to Argentina, and their stay in the country.

The Programa R@íces, which involves a network of Argentine Researchers and Scientists residing Abroad, has been developed by the Department of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation coming directly under the Department of International Affairs.
