Superderby for Fans and Tourists

Boca Juniors v. River Plate is one of the top 50 sports events worldwide one should not miss.

In 2004 the British newspaper The Observer conducted a survey inviting its readership to choose the top 50 sports events worldwide one should not miss. The Superderby of the Argentine soccer, Boca Juniors v. River Plate, turned out first.

This event, which has become part of Argentina’s cultural heritage over time, stood first ahead of the Tennis Masters final match, F1 Monaco Grand Prix, and a Wimbledon Open tennis match in the central court, among others.

The results of the survey were conclusive as to the relevance of an event which has become a unique show over time. Spectators play the leading role and fill the event with circus-like magic, bright colors, and a steady chant which makes the whole galaxy of soccer fans vibrate.

The Superderby is simply a game where feelings are at stake, and the passion for soccer reaches its peak. The tears of emotion for the winner, and the tears of sorrow for the defeated, will last hours, days, months, years… And there will always be a friend or workmate to ensure it will remain an unforgettable moment.

A Tourist Attraction

During the last years, thousands of tourists from all around the world have enjoyed the experience of watching this game. People from England, Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Israel, Bulgaria, China, Ecuador, Italy, among others, took advantage of their visit to this country to go to the Bombonera or the Monumental stadium.

Though many of these people came to Argentina specially for the occasion, others just followed other people’s suggestions to enjoy not only Buenos Aires traditional neighborhoods and other marvelous places in our country, but also the chance to actively participate in an unparalleled event.

Soccer Tours and Tickets Sale

Since it is a high-profile event which generates great expectation, there are tour agencies specialized in offering tourists different services to watch the games and visit Boca Juniors and River Plate’s premises. A thorough offer where no detail is overlooked.

The Superderby of the Argentine soccer is poetry for those who love this sport. “Feelings rule. And for feelings there is no decameter, or hectoliter, or hectares, or kilograms”. This is how the unforgettable soccer guru Osvaldo Ardizzone, journalist and writer, described in the prestigious sports magazine El Gráfico his feelings when watching a Superderby in 1972 – a game which will be remembered as one of the most exciting ever. The unforgettable poet could not find a measure to express the dimension of an exciting sports event which had him as a privileged witness.

If you're in not good state and have no money to go out from that point, you would have to receive the business loans. Just because that would help you for sure. I get small business loan every single year and feel myself good because of this.
